The heliport light technical requirement

In the following cases, the heliport light helicopter field should be set up:

- distance visual guidance, and no other visual methods can provide;

- because of the existence of light around the helicopter field identification difficult.

Heliport light shall meet the following requirements:

1 light helicopter field must be set on a helicopter or its nearby, appropriate frame is high, and should make the pilot felt no glare at a close range. Such as light helicopter field make pilots feel dazzling, at a close range can be in the final stage of the approach and landing process will be closed, also can lower the light of the light is approaching 10% or 3%

2 light helicopter field must be continuous issued a series of intermittent short white flash, etc.

3 heliport light each flash of light intensity distribution effectively.

4 light light must be from all directions to see.
